Description

Most indicators answer one question. The Adaptive Market Intelligence Engine runs six independent readings of the market and resolves them into a single number for each side, zero to one hundred. Trend reads a 21/50 EMA stack with higher-timeframe confirmation. Structure tracks internal and major pivots, break of structure, change of character, retests, and the strength of the legs between qualifying swings. Regime classifies the market into one of six states from ADX and DMI, Bollinger compression and ATR expansion. Momentum reads RSI and the MACD histogram. Location measures where price sits against session VWAP intraday, or a mean EMA on higher timeframes. Participation measures volume against its own average. The score engine resolves all of it into a bull score and a bear score.

An arrow is not simply a high score. It fires only at the start of a new trend, and only when four things are true at once: the winning score clears its minimum, it beats the opposing side by the required margin, every enabled filter passes, and the engine was not already in that trend. Once a signal fires the engine locks and will not signal again in that direction until the trend has failed for a set number of bars or reversed outright. That lock is what stops the endless stream of same-direction arrows that most confluence tools produce. Signals are graded A or A+, with A+ reserved for the higher-score tier. The default minimum of 86 is deliberately strict, and it is the first dial to move if you want more or fewer signals.

Nothing on the chart moves once a bar has closed. Every decision is taken on closed bars, and the higher-timeframe series reproduces Pine’s lookahead idiom exactly, reading at each chart bar the higher-timeframe bar that had already closed at that moment – no future leak and no added lag. If the higher-timeframe data has not downloaded yet the engine waits, says so once in the Experts log, and falls back to the chart series rather than quietly handing you higher-timeframe-gated signals computed without higher-timeframe data.

Every series is computed in-house, which is a correctness decision rather than a stylistic one: MetaTrader’s iATR is a simple moving average of true range where Pine’s is Wilder’s RMA, iMACD smooths its signal line with an SMA where Pine uses an EMA, and iADX takes a single length where Pine’s DMI takes two. All three feed the score, so all three are rebuilt directly, with RSI, EMA, Bollinger and VWAP computed alongside them to keep the whole chain consistent.

On the chart you get an EMA ribbon with a filled band, VWAP or mean line, candles tinted by their confluence score so the gradient itself is the read, shaded structure bands between qualifying swings, dashed break-of-structure and change-of-character lines with labels, retest markers, and a self-measuring dashboard that steps its own font down rather than letting columns overlap. Thirty-one buffers expose scores, signal, grade, trend state, regime, bias, structure direction, ADX and DMI, swing levels and range location to any Expert Advisor through iCustom, with a separate event buffer for entry and state buffer for whether you should still be in.

Suggested starting points are included for Deriv synthetics on M5 and M15 and for gold on M15 and H1. Ships as full MQL5 source with a detailed integration and tuning guide. Free MT5 download.

Works well with Wick Sequence Breakout — AMIE tells you a trend is starting, Wick Sequence Breakout shows you the zone it has to break to prove it.
