Description

A speedometer is the fastest read a chart can give you, and this indicator makes the needle mean something. The Speedometer Confluence Gauge draws a semicircular dial in its own window below the price chart, divided into five equal sectors from STRONG SELL through SELL, NEUTRAL and BUY to STRONG BUY. The needle sweeps left to right on a single 0 to 100 confluence score, so one glance tells you which way the weight of evidence is leaning and how far.

That score is built from six independent factors, each scored 0 to 100 and blended by weight. Trend reads the EMA stack and measures the separation in ATR. Momentum is Wilder RSI. MACD contributes its histogram normalised by ATR. Stochastic reports position in the recent range. Location measures where price sits inside the Bollinger envelope. Direction takes the DMI balance and scales it by ADX strength, so a lopsided DMI in a trendless market counts for little. The blend is smoothed and a gain is applied around 50 so the needle actually reaches the extremes on quiet instruments. Every series is computed in-house rather than through iATR, iMACD and iADX, which use different smoothing from the Pine originals and would quietly change the score.

The engine retunes itself to whatever you drop it on. On attach the symbol name, description and market path are classified into one of nine profiles – Volatility fast (10, 25 and every 1s index), Volatility slow (50, 75, 100), Boom, Crash, Step Index, Jump, Range Break, Gold and Generic – and each profile supplies its own EMA, RSI, MACD, stochastic, Bollinger, DMI and ATR lengths, its own smoothing and its own gain. Boom and Crash get long windows and a low gain so a single spike cannot throw the needle to an extreme it cannot justify. Step gets short windows and a high gain, otherwise the needle never leaves NEUTRAL. The active profile is named on the gauge, can be overridden manually, and every length is exposed if you would rather set your own.

Nothing repaints. The score is taken on closed bars and the needle reads the last closed bar; a Live needle mode is there if you want it to follow the forming bar, clearly labelled as the one setting that moves within the bar. Alerts fire on a sector change of the last closed bar only, never for a bar that closed before the indicator was attached, with an extremes-only switch so you can hear about STRONG BUY and STRONG SELL and nothing else. Popup, push, email and sound are all supported.

The dial geometry is a faithful MT5 port of the original Pine Script toolbox: auto-fit keeps the arc circular at any zoom or window size and redraws immediately on resize rather than waiting for the next tick, sector bands, edges, ticks and labels are all adjustable, and a second instance id lets you run two gauges on one chart. Ten buffers expose the score, the sector, all six factor scores, the active profile and a sector-change event to any Expert Advisor through iCustom, with a fixed contract: outside Live mode shift 0 is always empty, and shift 1 is the last closed bar.
