Description
CCI RSX ATR is a redesigned Commodity Channel Index oscillator for MetaTrader 4 that tackles the CCI biggest weakness — noise. Rather than reading raw price, it first smooths price with a Jurik-style RSX filter and scales it by Average True Range, then computes the CCI on that cleaner series. The result is a separate-window histogram that swings between overbought and oversold levels but whips around far less than a standard CCI. Each bar is coloured by both trend (above +100 or below -100) and slope (rising or falling), so a single glance tells you whether momentum is accelerating or fading. The CCI period, RSX period, ATR period and the overbought/oversold levels are all adjustable. Use it for momentum confirmation, divergence spotting or overbought/oversold timing.
